Birthdays and a Birthday Suit

Happy 4 months to my nakie baby!
I left the months off after 6...driving my OCD self crazy

4 month facts:

-15.9 lbs -- 50th percentile
-25'' long -- 40th percentile
-15 3/4" head circumference -- 10th percentile (It's official. He has my head)
-Wears 3-6 month and 6 month clothes
-Sleeping 10 to 12 hours. I usually feed him between 7pm and 8pm, then down for the night. He usually wakes up around 6:30 or 7:00am. I have heard several people talk sleep regression around 4 months. I am crossing my fingers this does not happen.
-In size 1 diapers still, but I think we are about to move up to size two. He occasionally poops out of the back of diapers. We tried size twos early on, but it did not help. I am assuming it is the force.
-Is no long nursing 10 minutes, about 15 to 20 minutes on average every 3 to 4 hours
-Takes 5oz. in a pumped bottle. Our pediatrician gave us the solids talk at our 4 month check up, but told us it was perfectly fine if we wanted to wait until 6 months to start. I think we will wait. He seems satisfied for now
-Kicks, kicks and kicks some more. Those legs are always going, which means taking pictures like the one above is difficult. It was the only one I got where the blanket is semi straight
-Smiles all the time, babbles, spits bubbles, drools constantly, spitting up more these days, and of course hands are always in his mouth.
-Still takes a paci. We keep catching him with his thumb his mouth. He really just chews on it, but we are trying to stop that immediately. Obviously there is nothing wrong with him sucking his thumb, but I sucked my thumb when I was little and it was hard to stop. You can always take a paci away, but you can't detach his hand : )
-Sleeps with his arms up and palms of hands on the sides of his face. It's so cute. What's not cute is how he rubs his face all night, sticks his finger in his eye and busts a blood vessel.
-I mentioned in my last post he has been rolling front to back inconsistently during tummy time. Now he is picking his legs straight up and rolling to his side from his back. Not sure which way he is going to start rolling consistently first.
-Still loves to stand
-Gets a big kick out of looking at himself in the mirror (see below)
-Grabbing and batting at toys. Mostly tries to put them in his mouth.
-Starting to pick his head up while in a lying position like he wants to sit up.
-Loves bath time.
-Has had a few dry patches on his elbows, shoulders and knees along the way, but hasn't been anything that aveeno lotion or aquaphor hasn't been able to take care of....so far.
-Pretty much a happy baby most of the time!

Meet my Michelin man
The chunkier he looks in a picture the cuter I think it is. Eat.him.up
His poor wittle eye after he busted a blood vessel
Saturday, March 9th was Chris's 33rd birthday. He started the day off with breakfast in bed. He actually began to walk out of our bedroom right when I was bringing it to him. I told him to go back because he was ruining the surprise : )
We grabbed some lunch at Lenny's
Sweet P had a good time
Best buds relaxing
I made enchiladas for his birthday dinner. Like I have said before I am no Betty Crocker, but those enchiladas were dang good. Thank you Kristen for the recipe.

Can't have mexican food without a margarita right?
Just a little heath bar ice cream for the birthday boy. Ben and Jerry's is his fav. Gift on the left is from Porter and the Pais.

Sunday morning before church looking handsome.
Happy during tummy time. Never thought I would see the day
Couldn't choose the cutest one, obviously.
Uncle Larkin getting in some P time
Meme and Bailey
On Sunday night Nana came over to babysit while we went out for a second birthday dinner. It was a much needed time for us : ) Of course we mostly talked about that sweet babe.
Right before those mean ole 4 month shots.
Afterwards. Sweet boy ran a low grade fever all day and the next.  Broke my heart : (
First ride in the big boy stroller. He loved being able to face forward and see the world.
