Dreaded double digits

10 months old already...really? For some reason those double digits makes P seem really old.

10 month facts :

• Wears 9-12 month and 12 month clothes/pajamas
• Size 3 diapers still
• Nurses or takes 6 oz 4x daily
• Eating finger foods and chunky puree. He used to eat 4 oz of baby food. Eating a lot more now. Pollishes off 6 oz of yogurt, oatmeal, etc.
• Still haven't been giving him a sippy cup regularly. Probably should.
• Front top two teeth are in. Makes him look old : (
• Still going down between 7 and 8pm and waking between 7-8am
• 2 naps a day. Range from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Most of the time they are two hours. His morning seems to be getting a little shorter, but some days the same.
• Offers up kisses like crazy, even when I don't ask
• Fascinated with his tongue
• Talks a bunch of gibberish
• Shakes his head no when I say no. So cute.
• Shakes his head, claps and bounces when he hears music. If you know me...this makes me insanely happy.
• Just now seeing a little attachment to his lovey. He sleeps fine without it, but lights up when he sees it.
• Cruising along the furniture, standing momentarily without support
• I started back work part time when P was 9.5 months. We have an awesome lady named Terry watching P on those days. He just adores her. She was passed along to us by my dear friend friend, Kristen. It couldn't have worked out better. #blessed.

We finally met Precious baby Lucy McDonald. Cutest little thing ever. Lucy and her momma sure did give us a scare, but they are happy and healthy now.

September was my birthday month. It was the big 3-0 and it couldn't have been more special. Chris planned a surprise party for me at Babalu. I was SO surprised. It was very special!

September 9, 2013. I officially turned 30! I walked downstairs, from getting ready to go to dinner, to this sweetness.

It was the first birthday I've celebrated with Porter in my life, and the first living back in Jackson. It was so special being able to celebrate with family and friends. Best one yet!
