We had a fiesta for Porter's second birthday this year :) I decided to scale it back a little compared to last year. I went overboard hand making decorations for his first and it took so much out of my life. I am so glad I did it, but never again. (okay, PROBABLY never again). We had it on a Thursday night because it was just easier for us. It was perfect.
This flag was actually part of a bunting at our wedding hanging over a canoe full of beverages that read "Banchero's boat load of beer". It was neat pulling it out to use again.
On the menu we had all the fiesta favorites: Chips, salsa, queso, choice of hard or soft tacos and munchies for the kids. The cake was chocolate with cream cheese icing from Beagle Bagle. It was divine.
I saw these little mexican salsa cans on pinterest and started the hunt. Chris finally found them for me at a Spanish grocery store here in town, but I actually saw them in kroger just the other day.
I ended up making the donkey pinata cake topper myself because I couldn't find what I was looking for.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our little guy's second birthday. Time has flown. I can't believe he's two. I feel like I'll be posting his third birthday before I know it. Love him to pieces.
